In una gelida serata autunnale, una stella cadente solca il cielo sopra un piccolo villaggio inglese e il giovane Tristran promette alla ragazza, che vorrebbe in ogni modo conquistare, di partire per trovare dove è caduta e potere, così, regalargliela.
