Un giovane ispano-americano è accusato dell'omicidio del padre e dopo il dibattimento in aula, i giurati si riuniscono per decidere. La maggioranza è convinta della colpevolezza del ragazzo, le prove sembrano inconfutabili e si vorrebbe liquidare in fretta la faccenda per poter poi tornare a casa.
