Da quando sono nati Lotta e i suoi fratelli Jonas e Mia-Maria, nella Krugmacherstrasse non c'è più pace e tranquillità. Ecco perché suo padre la ribattezzò Krachmacherstrasse. I bambini pensano che in realtà con loro sia semplicemente divertente: fare un picnic nella casa sull'albero, visitare la zia Berg nella casa accanto, trasformare la stanza dei bambini in un nido di pirati e avere tante altre buone idee!
