Quando la città di Rose Creek si ritrova sotto il tallone di ferro del magnate Bartholomew Bogue, per trovare protezione i cittadini disperati assoldano sette fuorilegge, cacciatori di taglie, giocatori d'azzardo e sicari - Sam Chisolm, Josh Farraday, Goodnight Robicheaux, Jack Horne, Billy Rocks, Vasquez e Red Harvest. Mentre preparano la città per la violenta resa dei conti che sanno essere imminente, questi sette mercenari si trovano a lottare per qualcosa che va oltre il denaro.
